Mafe Andromeda (1998) is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist whose journey started as a little kid exploring painting and sculpting as an everyday fun activity with her grandparents. Trained in photography and design in Santo Domingo and Madrid, she found herself back on exploring the enjoyment of creating from an inner child perspective.

She has developed a language that balances conceptual work with material spontaneity. Her work is notable for juxtaposing color and the softness of familiar objects to question violence, hatred and pain, where RAINBOWS coexist with symbols of conflict and rupture, opening space where trauma and tenderness meet. Her emotionally layered work insists on EMPATHY as a political act and COLOR as a form of resistance.

"I create when the world hurts or when my heart flutters, and I live in that eternal duality".
